Copyright Policy and Content Complaints

In short: if something on tripsora.com, routeplanner.ai, tripbuilder.ai or trip-planner.ai uses your work without permission (for example a photo), or you think a page is unlawful, tell us with our report form or at [email protected]. We review every report, aim to do so within 2 business days, and remove content that appears to infringe.

1. What this covers

This policy covers content on our sites: pages and pictures we publish, and content published by independent creators on trip-planner.ai (see our Creator Terms). It also covers other legal complaints, for example about privacy, defamation, or information that is wrong or unsafe. Links to other websites are not covered: contact the other website's owner. We cannot decide whether something is lawful; we act when we reasonably believe content should not stay up.

2. How to send a complaint

Use the form at trip-planner.ai/report, or e-mail [email protected]. For a copyright complaint please include:

what your work is, and where the original is (a web address, or where and when you first published it);
the address of each page on our sites where it appears (and which picture, if there are several);
your name and contact details (e-mail), and whether you are the owner or act for the owner;
a statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised by the owner, its agent or the law;
a statement that the information in your complaint is accurate and that you are the owner or authorised to act for the owner; and
your signature (typing your full name is enough).

If something is missing, we may ask you for it before acting. Please do not send us your original files unless we ask.

3. What we do

We acknowledge your complaint and give you a reference (for example TD-4F2A9C).
A member of our team reviews it, aiming to do so within 2 business days.
If the content appears to infringe, we remove it or disable access to it promptly, usually before the person who published it has replied, and we tell you.
We tell the creator who published it what was removed and why, including your name and what you said, but not your e-mail address.
If we do not take content down, we tell you why, and you can send us more information.

4. If you published the content: counter-notice

If we removed your content and you believe that was a mistake or that you have permission to use it, reply to our e-mail within 14 days with your name and address, the address of the removed content, a statement that you believe in good faith that it was removed by mistake or that you are authorised to use it (with the details), and your signature. We pass your reply to the person who complained. If they do not tell us within 10 business days that they have started legal action, we may restore the content. We may decide not to restore content that we reasonably believe is unlawful.

5. Repeat infringers

Creators who repeatedly infringe copyright lose their accounts. Each accepted complaint can count as a strike, and at 3 strikes we suspend or end the account (see section 9A of the Creator Terms).

6. False or abusive complaints

Do not send a complaint you know is false or use it to harm a competitor. A person who knowingly sends a false complaint can be legally responsible for the harm it causes, and we may stop acting on complaints from them.

7. Your data

We use what you send only to handle the complaint and any dispute that follows. We keep the record, our decision and what we did for up to 6 years after we close it. See our Privacy Policy (section 2.8).
